Sally Skellington

Sally Skellington was released as part of the initial wave of Funko's Pop! Disney line, specifically designated as number 8 within the Nightmare Before Christmas collection. Created to celebrate the enduring legacy of Tim Burton’s 1993 stop-motion classic, the figure was designed in the signature Funko aesthetic: a stylized, vinyl silhouette characterized by an oversized head, small circular eyes, and simplified features that translate the character's stitched-together patchwork appearance into a collectible format.

The design process for this figure focused on maintaining the melancholic yet endearing essence of Sally, emphasizing her distinct ragdoll dress pattern and iconic red yarn hair. Upon its release, the figure became a cornerstone for collectors of animation memorabilia, serving as a gateway for fans to engage with the gothic charm of the film. It has since become a standard representation of the character in modern pop culture, consistently recognized for its accessible entry point into the broader Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise catalog.
