Sam (Bloody) (Metallic)

The Sam Winchester Pop! figure, part of the Funko Pop! Television line, was released to celebrate the long-running dark fantasy series Supernatural. As the character Sam Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki, serves as one of the show's two central protagonists, this figure was designed to represent the series' enduring cultural impact during its later seasons. The metallic, blood-splattered variant was produced as a specialized chase-style or limited edition exclusive, catering to fans who sought a more gritty, combat-ready aesthetic that reflected the character's frequent encounters with supernatural entities.

Funko’s design team utilized their standard stylized aesthetic for this figure, emphasizing Sam's signature appearance while incorporating specific textures and finishes like the metallic sheen and simulated blood spatter to differentiate it from the standard release. These variants are typically aimed at the collector market, prioritizing visual distinction and thematic relevance. Upon its release, it was well-received by the Supernatural fanbase, who generally appreciate collectibles that lean into the darker, more visceral elements of the show's lore.
