Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Marvel series, this figure depicts the Scarlet Witch as she appeared in the finale of the Disney+ miniseries WandaVision. The design captures Wanda Maximoff in her finalized Scarlet Witch costume, complete with her crown, holding the corrupted Book of the Damned, the Darkhold. This specific variant features glow-in-the-dark elements, emphasizing the magical energy associated with the character's mastery of chaos magic.
Funko designed this piece to commemorate the culmination of the show's narrative arc regarding Wanda's transformation. As part of the broader Marvel cinematic collection, the figure was intended to appeal to fans of the series and collectors of screen-accurate character representations. It was released during a period of high popularity for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's expansion into television, reflecting the show's focus on the titular character's emotional journey and eventual embrace of her destiny.
