The Scout figure, numbered 247 in the Pop! Games series, was released by Funko to celebrate the enduring popularity of Valve’s team-based first-person shooter, Team Fortress 2. Launched as part of a wider wave that brought several of the game's iconic mercenaries to the collectible market, the figure captures the Scout’s signature look, complete with his baseball cap, headset, and bat, reflecting the fast-paced, irreverent aesthetic that defined the game's class-based gameplay.

The design draws directly from the stylized, art-deco-inspired character models created by the Valve art team. By translating the Scout's distinct silhouette and expressive features into the oversized-head, bead-eyed Funko aesthetic, the figure serves as a nod to the game's legacy as a pioneer of the hero-shooter genre.
