Scrooge McDuck (Swimming in Gold)

Scrooge McDuck, the iconic Scottish billionaire created by Carl Barks, made his transition into the Funko Pop! vinyl line as part of the Disney series. This specific iteration, numbered 312, depicts the character in his classic top hat and coat, famously standing atop a mound of gold coins. It was released to celebrate the enduring popularity of the DuckTales franchise, which saw a major resurgence in cultural visibility following the launch of the 2017 reboot series.

The design draws heavily from the established aesthetic of the DuckTales characters, emphasizing the exaggerated, expressive features characteristic of the Funko brand while maintaining the recognizable silhouette of Barks' original creation. As a staple of the Disney collection, it serves as a tribute to one of animation's most enduring figures, and it has been well-received by collectors who appreciate the character's legacy as an emblem of late 20th-century comic book and television history.
