Seong Gi-Hun

The Seong Gi-Hun Pop! Digital figure, numbered 236, was released by Funko as part of their digital collectibles line. These figures represent characters from the global phenomenon Squid Game, a South Korean survival drama series that debuted on Netflix in 2021. The series explores themes of extreme debt and social inequality, and the collectible was designed to capture the likeness of the protagonist, Gi-hun, in his iconic green track suit, rendered in the distinctive, stylized aesthetic characteristic of the Funko Pop brand.

This particular item is tied to the transition of physical collectibles into the digital sphere, where collectors often gain access to physical redemption tokens through the acquisition of digital packs. The design focuses on the character's everyman appearance, emphasizing his role as player 456 within the game's high-stakes narrative. Since its release, the figure has served as a tangible connection for fans to the dark, satirical critique of modern life that the source material famously popularized.
