Where it came from
Seymour Krelborn, assigned number 655 in the Pop! Movies line, was released by Funko to commemorate the 1986 musical film adaptation of Little Shop of Horrors. The figure captures the character's signature mid-1960s aesthetic, complete with his oversized spectacles and work apron from Mushnik’s Skid Row Florists. It serves as part of a broader set that includes the iconic man-eating plant, Audrey II, reflecting the brand’s focus on bringing cult cinematic figures into the stylized vinyl medium.
The design prioritizes the recognizable silhouette of Rick Moranis’s portrayal, emphasizing the character's timid and unassuming posture. Funko’s approach to the license aimed to appeal to fans of the dark comedic musical, translating the film’s campy, retro-horror visual language into their characteristic large-headed, wide-eyed aesthetic. Upon its introduction, the figure was well-received by collectors of film memorabilia, particularly those who gravitate toward figures representing foundational or cult-status cinema.
