Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Town line, this set features Skeletor paired with his iconic lair, Snake Mountain. The design draws directly from the 1980s Masters of the Universe animated series, aiming to capture the nostalgic aesthetic of the original toy line while adhering to the stylized, large-headed format characteristic of the Funko brand.
This set was developed to appeal to long-time fans of the MOTU franchise who appreciate the detailed, diorama-style presentation afforded by the Pop! Town series. Upon its release, it was well-received by the collecting community for its faithful color palette and the inclusion of the infamous stronghold, serving as a prominent display piece for those who grew up during the original show's peak popularity.
