Sleestak

The Sleestak figure is part of the Funko Pop! Digital series, specifically released as a stylized collectible featuring the iconic lizard-like antagonists from the 1974 cult television series Land of the Lost. Created by Sid and Marty Kroft, the original Sleestak design was intended to be unsettling and primitive, serving as the silent, hive-minded protectors of the Pylon cities within the show's prehistoric dimension. This digital collectible translates the practical creature suit aesthetic into the standard Funko vinyl figure form factor, preserving the character's signature scaly texture and sunken, expressionless eyes.

Funko introduced the Pop! Digital line to integrate blockchain technology with physical collecting, often releasing these figures as part of limited 'drop' events. The design of the Sleestak Pop! maintains the brand's signature oversized head and simplified anatomy, appealing to fans of 1970s Saturday morning television nostalgia. While the digital format represents a modern shift in how fans interact with merchandise, the underlying design adheres to the recognizable silhouette established by the original creature effects team led by the Krofft brothers, which has remained a touchstone of campy science fiction design for decades.
