Slifer the Sky Dragon

Slifer the Sky Dragon was released as part of Funko's Pop! Animation series, specifically cataloged as number 756 within the Yu-Gi-Oh! line. This figure depicts one of the three Egyptian God Cards, central entities in the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game and the original anime series. The design aims to translate the massive, sprawling silhouette of the serpent-like god into the signature stylized aesthetic of the Pop! brand, utilizing an oversized mold to account for the character's formidable presence in the source material.

The figure emerged during a period of sustained interest in retro-anime collectibles, appealing to fans of the original Kazuki Takahashi manga and the subsequent animated adaptations. Designers focused on the character's distinct crimson coloring and unique double-jawed mouth, which are iconic hallmarks of Slifer. Upon its release, the figure was met with enthusiasm from the Yu-Gi-Oh! community, serving as a prominent display piece for those looking to represent the game's most powerful legendary monsters in their collections.
