Slush Puppie

The Slush Puppie Pop! figure, numbered 106 in the Ad Icons series, was released by Funko to celebrate the iconic frozen beverage brand established in 1970. Originally created by Will Radcliff in Cincinnati, Ohio, the drink became a staple of convenience stores and movie theaters throughout the late 20th century. The character design honors the brand's mascot, a blue dog with a distinctively cheerful expression, which has served as the visual identity of the franchise for decades.

Funko’s design for this figure centers on replicating the mascot's simple, mid-century inspired aesthetic while adhering to the standard Pop! vinyl proportions. By casting the figure in the classic blue hue associated with the drink’s signature flavor, the designers aimed to evoke nostalgia among consumers who grew up with the brand. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors of the Ad Icons line, who often gravitate toward figures representing established cultural touchstones of the 1970s and 1980s.
