Spider-Man 2099

Spider-Man 2099, also known as Miguel O'Hara, debuted in the 1992 Marvel Comics series created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi. The character was envisioned as a futuristic successor to the mantle of Spider-Man, set in a dystopian version of New York City in the year 2099. His design, characterized by a sleek, sharp aesthetic with a skull-like chest emblem and a cape-like glider, serves as a stark, industrial departure from Peter Parker’s iconic red and blue suit.

This Funko Pop figure, numbered 1225 in the Marvel line, was released to coincide with the 2023 animated feature film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The figure captures O'Hara's updated design from the film, which emphasizes a more imposing and structured silhouette. Collectors generally view this release as a highlight of the Across the Spider-Verse merchandise wave, appreciated for its fidelity to the high-contrast color palette and aggressive stance seen in the movie's animation style.
