Spider-Punk

Spider-Punk, known as Hobie Brown, serves as a standout character in the 2023 animated feature Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The character was designed to embody the aesthetic of 1970s British punk rock, featuring a distinctive jagged art style, a mohawk, and a collage-like costume that shifts in animation frame-by-frame. Funko released this Pop! figure as part of the tie-in merchandise line for the film to capture the character's rebellious and stylized visual identity.

The figure is part of the broader Pop! Marvel series, designated as number 1411. Like much of the merchandise for the film, the design team at Funko focused on translating the complex, experimental animation style of the character into the signature simplified Funko form. It was received warmly by fans of the movie, who gravitated toward the character's unique design and prominence in the plot, leading it to become a highly sought-after piece within the expansive Spider-Verse collection.
