Where it came from
Squints, numbered 569 in the Pop! Movies series, was released by Funko to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 1993 film The Sandlot. The figure captures the iconic look of Michael 'Squints' Palledorous, complete with his signature oversized black-rimmed glasses and striped shirt, memorializing one of the most memorable characters from the cult classic coming-of-age story.
The design process for this line focused on translating the recognizable aesthetics of 1960s youth culture as depicted in the film into Funko’s signature stylized vinyl form. The figure was well-received by fans of the movie, serving as a nostalgic tribute to the childhood camaraderie and baseball-centric adventures that solidified the film's enduring place in popular culture.
