Stark

Stark is a central character in the fantasy series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, created by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. First introduced in the manga serialised in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2020, Stark is depicted as a hesitant but powerful warrior recruited by Frieren for her journey. The character design emphasizes his youthful, somewhat anxious demeanor contrasted with his significant martial capabilities, a duality that resonated deeply with readers and viewers of the subsequent anime adaptation.

The Funko Pop figure, numbered 1988 in the Animation line, was released to coincide with the widespread popularity of the anime series. Funko designers aimed to capture Stark's signature look, including his distinctive red hair and his heavy, oversized battle axe. Like other items in the Animation collection, this figure serves as a stylised tribute to contemporary character design, focusing on the brand’s recognizable aesthetic while maintaining the specific visual markers that identify Stark as a core member of Frieren’s party.
