Sugar Pops Pete

Sugar Pops Pete was introduced as part of the Pop! Digital line, a series that marries the physical Funko aesthetic with non-fungible token technology. This specific figure draws from the vintage branding of Kellogg’s Sugar Pops cereal, which debuted in 1950. The character, a cowboy who famously touted the cereal's sweet taste, was a staple of mid-century breakfast table advertising and represents a significant piece of cereal box nostalgia.

The design of the figure translates Pete’s classic cowboy attire—complete with his signature hat and scarf—into the distinct, oversized-head Funko Pop! style. As part of a digital-first release, the physical collectible was offered as a redemption reward for collectors who secured specific digital assets from the Sugar Pops collection. It serves as a modern homage to the golden age of cereal mascots and the evolution of brand merchandising in the digital era.
