Cornelius

Cornelius, the iconic mascot of Kellogg's Corn Flakes, was reimagined as a Pop! Digital collectible to celebrate the long-standing cultural impact of the cereal brand. This digital format represents Funko's foray into the blockchain-based collectible space, where characters are released in limited sets tied to specific rarity tiers. The design maintains the classic anthropomorphic rooster aesthetic that has graced cereal boxes since the mid-20th century, adapted into the signature large-headed, stylized proportions of the Funko Pop line.

The character of Cornelius was introduced in the late 1950s, conceived by the Leo Burnett advertising agency to provide a friendly, recognizable face for the cereal. Over the decades, the design evolved from a more realistic rooster illustration to the polished, expressive cartoon version seen today. As a Pop! Digital figure, the piece serves as a bridge between mid-century branding history and modern digital asset collecting, reflecting the nostalgic appeal that the Kellogg's mascot continues to hold for generations of breakfast consumers.
