Summoned Skull

Summoned Skull, a staple of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game since its introduction in the early 2000s, was brought to the Pop! Animation line as figure number 1175. Designed as part of Funko's ongoing collaboration with the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, the figure aims to capture the distinct, skeletal aesthetic of the original card illustration. Its production reflects the broader strategy of translating iconic monsters from the series into the simplified, oversized-head silhouette that defines the Funko brand.

The character itself originates from the dark fantasy aesthetic of Kazuki Takahashi's manga and subsequent anime series, serving as one of Yugi Muto’s most reliable and recognizable high-level monsters. The Pop! figure is designed for collectors seeking to expand their display of Duel Monsters. While it follows the standard design language of the Animation series, it is noted by fans for capturing the creature's menacing horns and wings, solidifying its place as a quintessential piece for fans of the early generation of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise.
