Superman Soldier (Dawn of Justice)

The Superman Soldier Pop! figure was released as part of the Funko Pop! Heroes line to coincide with the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It represents one of the armored soldiers serving under Superman in the film's 'Knightmare' sequence, a dreamlike vision of a dystopian future. The design utilizes the standard stylized Pop! aesthetic, featuring the distinctive military gear and goggles seen on the soldiers in that specific cinematic segment.

This figure was produced during a period when Funko was rapidly expanding its cinematic tie-ins. The design team focused on capturing the grit of the film's darker color palette, translating the soldier's specialized tactical equipment into the simplified vinyl form characteristic of the brand. While the film received a polarized reception from critics and audiences, the associated toy line became a standard offering for collectors tracking the expanding DC Extended Universe collection.
