The Joker (Arkham Asylum) (Green Chrome)

The Joker (Arkham Asylum) pop figure, numbered 53 in the DC Heroes line, draws its inspiration from the character's gritty, reimagined aesthetic in the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. This iteration of the character moved away from traditional comic depictions, opting for a more distressed, visceral look that emphasized his unstable nature. The Funko figure captures this redesign, featuring the character in his tattered purple suit and iconic slicked-back hair.

The green chrome variant was produced as a specialty release, part of a wider trend of metallic and colored-chrome finishes applied to existing molds to cater to the completionist collector market. While the base design by the Funko creative team adhered to the established Arkham Asylum character model, the metallic finish served as a visual distinction for convention exclusives or chase-style variants. These editions are generally received as aesthetic curiosities by fans, valued primarily for their vibrant, reflective appeal compared to the standard matte finish.
