Tinkles / Ghost in a Jar [SDCC]

The Tinkles with Ghost in a Jar Pop! figure was released as a 2017 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line. Representing a surreal sequence from the Rick and Morty episode 'Total Rickall', the figure captures the character Tinkles, a magical ballerina lamb, alongside her companion, the Ghost in a Jar. This piece was produced to cater to the show's cult following, which heavily emphasizes the collection of limited-edition character variations derived from the show’s increasingly bizarre narrative tangents.

The design draws directly from the animation style of the series, characterized by simple, clean lines adapted into Funko’s signature oversized-head format. It was manufactured during a period when Funko was expanding its reach into niche adult animation properties, leveraging the rarity of event-exclusive releases to drive engagement among dedicated collectors. Upon its debut, it was well-received by fans of the series who valued its specificity and the inclusion of the unique accessory, which helped it stand out within the broader Rick and Morty set.
