Where it came from
Tokio (Masked), identified as number 741 in the Funko Pop! Television series, depicts the central protagonist of the Spanish heist drama 'La Casa de Papel', known internationally as 'Money Heist'. The figure was released to coincide with the global popularity of the show following its acquisition and distribution by Netflix, which transformed the series into a worldwide cultural phenomenon. The character, played by Úrsula Corberó, is rendered here wearing the iconic red jumpsuit and the Salvador Dalí mask that serve as the show's visual signature and symbol of resistance.
The design of the figure leans into Funko’s signature aesthetic, featuring a stylized, oversized head and simplified facial features hidden beneath the molded mask. Created to appeal to both fans of the heist genre and collectors of contemporary pop culture figures, the design emphasizes the character's recognizable silhouette. It was received as a standard collectible for the series, serving as a functional piece of merchandise that represents the show's distinct visual branding.
