Torbjorn (Molten Core)

Released as part of the Pop! Games line for the Overwatch series, this figure depicts Torbjörn Lindholm in his iconic Molten Core ultimate ability state. The figure was produced to celebrate the massive success of Blizzard Entertainment’s team-based hero shooter, which debuted in 2016 and quickly became a global cultural phenomenon. The molten design choice, featuring translucent orange plastic, serves as a direct visual reference to the character's signature ability where he rapidly deploys his turret and upgrades his own combat capabilities.

The design follows Funko's standard stylized aesthetic, prioritizing a simplified, approachable look that highlights the character's recognizable silhouette, including his massive beard and robotic arm. As part of a series that spans dozens of characters, these figures were designed to allow players to manifest their in-game mains in a physical space. Upon release, the figure was well-received by fans for its attention to detail regarding Torbjörn's specific equipment and the distinctive glow of the Molten Core effect.
