Where it came from
Torbjörn Lindholm is a central character from the team-based hero shooter Overwatch, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. This figure was released as part of the Pop! Games series in 2017, following the massive success of the game's launch the previous year. The design captures Torbjörn’s signature silhouette, complete with his mechanical prosthetic arm and iconic beard, rendered in the classic stylized Funko aesthetic.
The figure reflects the collaborative relationship between Funko and Blizzard, aiming to translate the highly detailed character models from the game into a simplified, collectible form factor. Torbjörn, designed as the game's quintessential engineer, was a staple for players who favored defensive strategies. Upon release, this Pop! became a popular choice for fans of the game who wanted to represent their favorite utility-based hero on their shelves, fitting into the broader effort to bring competitive gaming icons into the physical collector's market.
