Where it came from
The Tracer (Posh) Funko Pop! figure was released as a regional exclusive for the 2016 Blizzard Gear Store and select convention events. It is a variant of the original Tracer figure from the inaugural wave of the Overwatch Pop! Games line, which sought to translate the vibrant, stylized character designs of Blizzard Entertainment’s team-based hero shooter into Funko’s signature aesthetic. This specific iteration features a recolored 'Posh' skin, an in-game cosmetic that utilizes a palette of white, teal, and gold to evoke a premium, high-fashion appearance.
The figure was designed by the Funko creative team to mirror the proportions and detailing of the standard Tracer #92 model while adhering to the color scheme of the Posh skin from Overwatch. As a piece of merchandise tied to the game's initial launch period, the figure was well-received by the community for its novelty and relative scarcity compared to the standard edition. The design remains a notable example of how Funko utilized exclusive colorways to engage the dedicated player base of the franchise during its peak popularity.
