Where it came from
The Undertaker Pop! figure, designated number 08 in the WWE series, was released by Funko to commemorate one of professional wrestling's most iconic performers. Debuting as part of Funko’s expansion into the WWE license, the figure captures the character's early 'Deadman' aesthetic, complete with his signature trench coat, hat, and stoic expression. This release capitalized on the enduring cultural impact of the Undertaker persona, which has served as a cornerstone of World Wrestling Entertainment since 1990.
The design follows the traditional Funko Pop! aesthetic, characterized by a large head and stylized proportions, which aims to distill complex wrestling personas into simplified, recognizable collectibles. Upon release, this figure was well-received by wrestling fans and toy collectors alike, serving as a staple of the initial WWE line. Its design honors the performer's transition from the golden era of wrestling into the modern sports entertainment landscape, maintaining a consistent presence in the aftermarket as a definitive piece of WWE memorabilia.
