Unmasked Captain America [Fun Expo]

Released in 2014, the Unmasked Captain America Funko Pop was produced as a regional exclusive for the Funko Fundays event held during San Diego Comic-Con. It depicts Steve Rogers as he appeared in the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier, diverging from the standard retail version by omitting the character's signature cowl to reveal his face. This variant was part of a strategic rollout of convention-only items intended to reward dedicated fans and drive engagement at one of the industry's most significant pop culture gatherings.

The figure features the distinct design language of the early Marvel Pop line, characterized by the stylized oversized head and simplified anatomical features that define the brand. As a convention exclusive, the item was designed to be a highly limited chase piece for collectors, emphasizing the prestige of attending the event. Upon its release, it became a point of interest for completionists of the Marvel Cinematic Universe sub-series, cementing its status as an early high-value entry in the broader Pop! Marvel category.
