Venomized Storm (Glow in the Dark)

The Venomized Storm Pop! figure was released as part of the wider Marvel Venomized series, which imagines iconic X-Men characters through the lens of the lethal symbiote. Produced by Funko, this iteration specifically captures the weather-manipulating mutant Ororo Munroe, also known as Storm, infused with Venom's distinct aesthetic markers like the wide, toothy grin and elongated tongue. The glow-in-the-dark variant was developed to heighten the supernatural appeal of the design, casting a luminous effect on the symbiote portions of the figure when exposed to darkness.

The design process for the Venomized line focused on merging the classic costumes of superheroes with the dark, jagged features of the Venom character. As a prominent entry in the Funko Pop! Marvel line, this figure was positioned for collectors interested in thematic mashups rather than traditional comic book continuity. Upon its release, the figure received attention for its creative use of the signature Pop! stylized proportions, particularly in how the character’s flowing white hair contrasts with the menacing symbiote features.
