Weston McKennie

The Weston McKennie Funko Pop! figure, number 71 in the NFL series, was released to celebrate the midfielder's tenure with the Juventus Football Club, though marketed under the broader NFL-licensed umbrella for international crossover appeal. As part of Funko’s ongoing effort to capture global sports icons in their signature stylized aesthetic, the figure depicts McKennie in his kit, reflecting his status as one of the most prominent American players in European football during the early 2020s.

The design follows Funko's standard vinyl aesthetic, emphasizing oversized proportions and simplified facial features to create a recognizable caricature. These figures are typically produced to commemorate active professional athletes at the height of their careers, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional sports memorabilia and modern collectible toy culture. The figure was generally well-received by fans of both the player and the hobby, serving as a accessible entry point for football fans looking to display their affinity for specific players.
