Where it came from
Yuji Itadori, numbered 1111 in the Pop! Animation line, was produced by Funko to celebrate the global popularity of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. Released during the height of the show's initial rise in Western markets, this figure captures the protagonist in his signature Tokyo Jujutsu High uniform, reflecting the dark fantasy aesthetic established by creator Gege Akutami. It was designed to appeal to both casual fans and dedicated collectors looking to represent the series' core cast in the hallmark Funko stylized form.
The design process for this Pop! focused on translating Itadori's distinctively spiked pink hair and determined expression into the simplified, large-headed vinyl format. The piece was received as a standard entry in Funko's growing catalog of contemporary shonen anime figures, serving as a foundational piece for collectors building out their Jujutsu Kaisen displays alongside his mentors and peers.
