Zombie Alpaca

The Zombie Alpaca Funko Pop, numbered 86 in the broader Pop! Animation and stylized vinyl figure lines, was released as part of a collaboration with Tasty Peach Studios. Tasty Peach is a brand celebrated for its 'kawaii' aesthetic, blending cute, pastel-colored character designs with subcultural themes. The figure reimagines a traditional fluffy alpaca with the macabre motifs of a zombie, such as exposed bones and a tattered appearance, creating a playful contrast characteristic of the brand's signature style.

The design of the figure focuses on the juxtaposition of the soft, round silhouette typical of alpaca plushes with the undead features required for the zombie theme. Funko adapted the original Tasty Peach character design by translating its simplified, wide-eyed look into the iconic Pop! vinyl structure. While the line is generally targeted at collectors of niche internet-based lifestyle brands and boutique character design, this figure serves as a notable example of Funko's strategy to partner with independent artists and digital-native studios to diversify their catalog.
