Where it came from
Released in 2008, the Anakin Skywalker LEGO magnet set (852350-1) is part of a series of character-themed magnet packs produced during the height of the Clone Wars era. These sets were designed for retail environments, offering fans a convenient way to collect popular Star Wars minifigures mounted on decorative, non-detachable 2x4 bricks that function as functional refrigerator magnets.
The minifigure captures Anakin Skywalker in his late Clone Wars appearance, featuring printing that reflects his Jedi robes and mechanical hand. At the time of release, these magnet sets were marketed as accessible display pieces. While the figures were popular for their detail, the permanent attachment of the brick to the torso was a notable design choice intended to differentiate these decorative magnets from standard play-ready minifigures found in building sets.
