Where it came from
Released in 2024 as part of the Lego Ninjago Dragons Rising theme, the Arin minifigure was introduced to represent the newer generation of ninja trainees joining the long-running series. This iteration reflects the character's early journey as a fan of the original ninja who strives to master spinjitzu, captured here in his primary training gear which balances classic martial arts motifs with modern, streamlined aesthetics.
The character design was developed by the Lego design team to integrate seamlessly into the revamped narrative arc of the Ninjago world, which debuted following the Merge event. Designers focused on creating a distinct silhouette for Arin that differentiates him from the elemental masters, utilizing printed details on the torso and legs that emphasize his youth and agility while maintaining the visual consistency of the overall Ninjago product line.
