Where it came from
Released in 2023 to coincide with the premiere of Walt Disney Animation Studios' film Wish, this LEGO set depicts the central location of the Kingdom of Rosas. The set was developed as part of the broader Disney 100th anniversary celebration, aiming to translate the stylized, illustrative aesthetic of the film's architecture into a modular building format suitable for younger fans.
The design focuses on capturing the vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired topography of the movie, featuring a three-level structure that includes a laboratory, a greenhouse, and a balcony. It was illustrated and engineered by the LEGO Group's design team to offer a narrative-driven build, prioritizing playability through the inclusion of minifigures representing the characters Asha, Dahlia, and King Magnifico, reflecting the company’s ongoing strategy of producing licensed tie-ins for major cinematic releases.
