Where it came from
Released in 2018 as part of the Lego BrickHeadz line, this dual-pack set features two iconic figures from the Star Wars universe. The set was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the franchise's expansion beyond the original film, specifically drawing inspiration from the climactic scenes in The Empire Strikes Back where Han Solo is frozen in carbonite and delivered to Boba Fett.
The design follows the characteristic aesthetic of the BrickHeadz series, which utilizes blocky, stylized proportions and distinct build techniques to represent pop culture characters. These figures were designed by the Lego internal design team to offer a compact, display-oriented alternative to traditional minifigure-scale sets, and the pair was generally received by fans as a faithful, charming adaptation of the source material's most memorable bounty hunter encounter.
