Where it came from
The Centaur Warrior was released in 2021 as part of the LEGO Minifigures Series 21, a blind-bagged collection designed to offer highly detailed and unique characters. It serves as a modern reimagining of the classic mythological archetype, incorporating a specialized molded piece that combines the human torso with the equine body, a design choice intended to capture a sense of regal stature and movement.
The character features intricate pad-printed detailing, including a forest-themed sash and specialized armor motifs, reflecting the design team's effort to provide collectors with a sophisticated fantasy aesthetic. Upon its release, it was widely praised within the building community for its technical execution and the versatility of its components, becoming a standout piece in a series known for its variety and imaginative character concepts.
