Where it came from
The Clouse minifigure was released in 2015 as part of the LEGO Ninjago theme, specifically featured in the set 70746 Condrai Copter Attack. This character, a dark sorcerer and former apprentice to Chen, served as a primary antagonist during the Tournament of Elements story arc. His design reflects the series' shift toward a more mystical and darker aesthetic, incorporating a unique torso print that mirrors his ceremonial robes and a specialized hairpiece to capture his menacing appearance.
The figure was designed by the LEGO Ninjago creative team to transition the theme's focus from traditional ninja motifs to the serpentine-inspired themes of the Tournament of Elements. Critics and fans noted the figure's accuracy to the television show's animation style, particularly praising the intricate detailing on the torso and the inclusion of his signature staff accessory, which helped cement his status as a standout villain in the Ninjago lineup.
