Cole

This minifigure of Cole was released in 2011 as part of the inaugural LEGO Ninjago wave, which introduced the theme centered on elemental masters protecting their world. Created to support the launch of the 'Masters of Spinjitzu' television series, this specific design features Cole in his signature black ninja gi, reflecting his role as the Earth Ninja. The character was conceptualized by the LEGO design team to serve as the team's anchor, defined by his physical strength and stoic personality.

The design of this early Ninjago figure is notable for its simplicity, featuring the classic ninja hood piece and torso printing that established the visual identity for the entire line. It was received with significant enthusiasm by collectors and children alike, as it marked the beginning of a long-running narrative arc. The aesthetic choices made during this period established a foundation for character design that would evolve over subsequent years, maintaining the core appeal of the original 'Masters of Spinjitzu' aesthetic.
