Where it came from
The Discovery Set 005-2 emerged from a period of experimental design within its specific product category, intended to provide users with a comprehensive introduction to a broader range of components. It was developed to serve as a tactile sampler, allowing collectors to engage with the aesthetic and functional nuances of the 005 series in a consolidated format.
The design of this set prioritizes functional clarity and minimalist utility, characteristic of the era's focus on modularity. While specific design credits remain part of the broader studio identity rather than individual attribution, the set was received as a practical entry point for newcomers, valued primarily for its role as an educational bridge to the rest of the collection.
