Where it came from
The LEGO BrickHeadz Disney 100th Celebration set, numbered 40622-1, was released in early 2023 to commemorate the centennial anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. This set serves as a celebratory tribute to the studio's rich animation history, featuring stylized, block-built interpretations of four iconic characters: Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, Snow White, and Tinker Bell.
Designed within the signature BrickHeadz aesthetic, which emphasizes oversized heads and simplified, expressive features, the set reflects a transition through Disney's visual evolution. Oswald represents the company's early roots, Mickey marks its rise to global recognition, while Snow White and Tinker Bell represent the transition into feature-length animation and fantasy storytelling. The collection was received as a nostalgic retrospective for long-term fans, focusing on the cultural impact of these specific animated figures over the past century.
