ElectroMech

The ElectroMech, set 70754-1, was released in 2015 as part of the Lego Ninjago theme's 'Tournament of Elements' subtheme. It was designed to represent the technological advancements of the theme's antagonists, the Chen’s Anacondrai cultists, appearing during the narrative arc where the ninja compete in Master Chen's tournament. The set features a bulky, olive-green mechanical suit piloted by Jay, the blue ninja, reflecting the line's shift toward incorporating more futuristic, industrial aesthetics alongside traditional ninja motifs.

The design of the ElectroMech focuses on articulation and playability, featuring poseable limbs and a stud-shooting mechanism to facilitate dynamic combat scenarios consistent with the Ninjago series' action-oriented play patterns. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors for its unique color palette and the inclusion of exclusive minifigures, specifically the Eyezor character. It serves as a representative example of the mid-2010s design philosophy for the Ninjago line, balancing complex mechanical construction with the specific color-coding associated with the core ninja characters.
