Forest Tractor

The LEGO City Forest Tractor, set number 60181-1, was released in early 2018 as part of the Great Vehicles subtheme. Designed to expand the play potential of the City line, the set captures the aesthetic of modern logging equipment, focusing on technical play features like a functioning articulated arm and a rotating claw mechanism. The inclusion of a small buildable log stand and two saplings served to ground the vehicle in a forestry context, encouraging children to roleplay environmental maintenance and timber harvesting scenarios.

The set was received positively by the collecting community for its efficient use of parts to achieve a complex, mechanical appearance within a compact footprint.
