Frak

The Frak figure, designated by set number 892513-1, was released as a promotional LEGO Ninjago item in 2011. This character, a member of the Skulkin army, was introduced during the inaugural wave of the Ninjago theme, which revitalized the brand by blending traditional martial arts motifs with fantasy storytelling. The design reflects the early aesthetic of the theme, characterized by the distinct skeletal motif and dark, monochromatic color palette used to define the antagonistic forces facing the ninja protagonists.

The Skulkin characters were designed to provide a playful yet distinct contrast to the hero team, utilizing specific molded headpieces and skeletal torso prints that became iconic to the early series. As an individual promotional release, this iteration allowed collectors to acquire specific army-building characters outside of the larger box sets. The design was received as part of a highly successful launch that helped establish the longevity of the Ninjago line in the global toy market.
