Han Solo Mudtrooper

The Han Solo Mudtrooper minifigure, released as a promotional polybag set under number 40300 in 2018, was created to coincide with the theatrical release of the film Solo: A Star Wars Story. This specific variant depicts Han Solo during his time serving as an Imperial mudtrooper on the planet Mimban, capturing the gritty, utilitarian aesthetic of the character's early military service. The figure features unique printing on the torso and helmet that differentiates it from standard Imperial trooper designs, emphasizing the war-torn environment portrayed in the film.

The design team at the LEGO Group utilized these specialized prints to reflect the muddy, textured look of the Mimban uniform while maintaining the classic minifigure silhouette. As a limited-distribution promotional item, it was primarily sought after by collectors interested in expanding their roster of variants from the Star Wars anthology films. It remains a representative example of the brand’s efforts to translate niche character moments from modern blockbusters into collectible physical assets.
