Kamzo

Kamzo was released in 2015 as part of the fifth series of the Lego Mixels theme, a collaborative project between Lego and Cartoon Network. This line was conceived to blend small-scale, affordable construction sets with character-driven storytelling, utilizing a modular design that allowed collectors to combine multiple figures into larger 'Max' models. Kamzo represents the orange-colored Geardo tribe, reflecting the series' focus on elemental and mechanical themes that encouraged imaginative play.

The design of the character was developed by the Lego design team to prioritize expressive personality through ball-and-socket joints and unique printed eye tiles. Like its counterparts in the series, Kamzo was intended to capture a quirky, zany aesthetic that resonated with the visual style of the accompanying animated shorts. Upon release, the set was noted by the hobbyist community for its efficient use of parts and the distinct, character-focused identity that distinguished it from traditional Lego architecture or vehicle-based sets.
