Where it came from
The LEGO City Advent Calendar (set 60155) was released in 2017 as part of the long-running tradition of LEGO holiday countdown sets. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the broader LEGO City theme, this iteration focused on winter-themed construction, featuring a series of small, daily builds that included festive vehicles, minifigures, and seasonal accessories meant to expand a tabletop holiday display.
The design philosophy behind the City Advent line emphasizes accessibility and seasonal charm, aiming to provide younger builders with a mix of exclusive printed pieces and versatile elements. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors and parents for its inclusion of holiday-specific minifigures, such as the iconic Santa Claus figure, and its ability to provide a complete, interactive narrative experience throughout the month of December.
