LEGO Friends Advent Calendar

Released in 2021, the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar set 41690 was designed as part of the long-running holiday series under the Friends theme. This specific iteration leans into the festive suburban aesthetic characteristic of the Heartlake City sub-theme, featuring micro-builds that encourage daily interaction throughout the month of December. The set was conceived to provide younger builders with a seasonal experience, focusing on community and friendship through miniature holiday-themed accessories and characters.

The design follows the traditional LEGO advent calendar format, utilizing a box with twenty-four perforated doors to conceal individual surprises. The pieces were curated to offer a mix of buildable pets, home decor, and winter activities, ensuring that each day contributes to a cohesive holiday display. Like many entries in the Friends line, the design prioritizes vibrant color palettes and accessible building techniques, which has made these seasonal sets a staple for collectors and families looking for non-candy-based holiday traditions.
