Road Worker

The Road Worker set, numbered 30357-1, was released by LEGO in 2018 as a small promotional polybag within the long-running City theme. Designed to add localized realism to broader urban layouts, the set focuses on the mundane but essential infrastructure maintenance common in metropolitan environments. It was distributed through various retail channels, often serving as an accessible entry point for younger builders or as a utility pack for established hobbyists looking to populate their street scenes.

The design follows the utilitarian aesthetic established by the City line, featuring a single construction worker minifigure equipped with a jackhammer, a safety sign, and a small patch of asphalt. The inclusion of a printed tile for the jackhammer and the signature high-visibility orange vest reflects LEGO's commitment to detail even within entry-level sets. While the set received no major critical fanfare upon its release, it was well-received by the fan community as a practical, low-cost way to enhance the narrative depth of suburban or city-themed dioramas.
