Ronin

The Ronin set, released under the Ninjago theme, represents a character-focused expansion within the long-running Lego sub-theme. Designed to capture the aesthetic of the mercenary Ronin, the set was produced to support the narrative arc of the Ninjago television series, where Ronin serves as a morally complex figure operating outside the traditional shinobi alignments. The design team focused on incorporating his signature functional, utilitarian weaponry and his unique vehicle aesthetic, intended to provide a grounded contrast to the more fantastical elemental powers showcased by the main cast.

Upon its release, the set was noted by collectors for its attention to character-specific detail and the inclusion of exclusive accessories that define the Ronin character model. Its reception was largely positive among Ninjago enthusiasts, who valued the figure for its role in expanding the series' lore beyond the core ninja protagonists. The design reflects an effort to balance playability with a visual identity that distinguishes the character from the primary heroic faction, solidifying its place as a staple for those curating a complete character roster from the series.
