Where it came from
The Scary Haunted Tree, set number 40900-1, was released as a seasonal promotional item within the LEGO Creator theme. It was designed to capture a whimsical yet spooky aesthetic suitable for autumn and Halloween displays, featuring a constructible tree with poseable branches and a small jack-o'-lantern base. The design emphasizes the classic LEGO brick-built approach, focusing on expressive character features through simple, effective part usage.
As a small-scale seasonal release, this set was intended to be an accessible point of entry for fans looking to add thematic variety to their collections. It reflects the broader Creator ethos of utilizing basic elements to create recognizable figures.
